If you change your mind you can return any unused product purchased online from Acquire within 30 days for a full refund using your original payment method. Where appropriate an exchange, gift card or store credit can also be offered. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Sale items (if applicable)
Both regular priced items and sale items can may be refunded. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. We will only exchange mattresses if they are in the original and sealed packaging as they are considered a personal care item.

Additional non-returnable items: 
- Gift cards 
- Downloadable software products 
- Some health and personal care items 
- Products marked as flawed or damaged
- Products that we repair or replace under T&C's

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) 
- Book with obvious signs of use 
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened 
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
Please allow financial companies up to 10 working days to process the transaction . 
If your refund has not officially transferred after this time please contact your credit card company and / or bank. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us .

If you are unable to provide satisfactory Proof of Purchase, Acquire at it's discretion may provide you with an exchange to the current value of the item provided that we can verify the item was originally purchased from Acquire Home Living and that the item is in a re-saleable condition, however we do not offer refunds on purchases for Acquire Gift Cards or Credit Notes  

To return a product that is a Standard delivery Item, you should mail it to: Acquire Home Living, 95 Forrest Avenue, South Bunbury WA 6230.

To return a product that is a Bulky delivery Item, you should transfer it personally or by a furniture freighter to: Acquire Home Living, 95 Forrest Avenue, South Bunbury WA 6230. Please note these type of goods are not covered by insurance with a general freighter.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any costs associated with return shipping that is charged to Acquire will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live and the type of item purchased, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Damaged items and exchanges (if applicable)
Please notify us of any defective or damaged items within 7 days of receiving the product via email and we will rectify the issue asap. Depending on the issue a repair, refund or replacement for the product will be supplied upon validation. Should a replacement be the resolution, it will be shipped to you at our expense after we have received your returned product. When a purchased product has a fault which amounts to a major failure the consumer has the right to to be provided with the option of a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.
